THE ROYAL GUARD

THE ROYAL GUARD is responsible for the protection of the Sultan. The Royal Guard is the highest military-police force for the nation. Its headquarters, barracks and arsenal are located within the Palace grounds. The Royal Guard has its ancient roots as the tribal canoers for past Panpacific kings. The Royal Guard also performs ceremonial duties, including traditional warrior combat dress, as the Event and Tradition requires of the Guard. Loyalty is paramount and is rewarded well for any Royal Guardian.

THE ISLAND DEFENCE FORCE

THE ISLAND DEFENCE FORCE is a well trained district military force. The primary responsibility of the IDF is to patrol the inland areas of the island to promote security and stability among the Sultan's People. The IDF is under the direct control of the Royal Defence Ministry which sets regular, routine and special orders to the IDF companies. Freddy King is the current Minister of Defence.

THE COAST GUARD

THE COAST GUARD is responsible for patrolling the 12 nautical mile territorial boundary of the island nation. The CG is also responsible for the regulation of the piers and wharfs. The CG is responsible for the collection of all visitor welcoming fees and collection of all departure taxes. The Coast Guard consists of two Destroyers (RCG Hillary; RCG Dashell); one cruiser (RCG William Jefferson), three gunboats, and ten coastal cutters.
